This set of Beech country cottage chairs where thick with coats of varnish and grease. I sanded them back to new wood and applied a few coats of wax to breath new life into them. I also glued all the loose and creaky joints... Good as new!!

Sycamore Bedside Cabinets

Over Christmas I have been making a pair of Sycamore bedside cabinets for a flat in the centre of Brighton. They have "touch to open" drawers which extend to give full access to the drawer. I had pieces of glass made to protect the top from hot drinks etc. The finish I used was a wax which protects the Sycamore without yellowing the lovely pale white colour of this timber.
